Scholarship for Indigenous Students planning to enter the 1st year of a Canadian public, post-secondary education program, full-time. Scholarship for Students of Colour who are planning to enter the 1st year of a Canadian public, post-secondary education institution, full-time. Terry Fox Memorial Scholarship for students with a disability who are planning to enter the 1st year of a Canadian public, post-secondary education institution, full-time. Tommy Douglas Scholarship for students planning to enter the 1st year of a Canadian public, post-secondary education institution, full-time. Young Worker Scholarship for students under the age of 30 who are attending or planning to enter a Canadian public, post-secondary education institution, full-time.

To apply you must be a child or grandchild (including foster child or foster grandchild) or a legal ward of a current or retired member of a Component or a Component’s affiliate of the National Union of Public and General Employees (NUPGE). Note that, the Young Worker Scholarship is also open to members of NUPGE’s Components and their affiliates.
Each scholarship may also have additional eligibility requirements.
You must fill in an online application form and include an original 750-to-1000-word essay. Each scholarship has a unique essay topic that changes every year. Emailed, mailed, or faxed applications will not be accepted.
