Description
Gulab Oils has decided to do its share for society and has initiated a one-of-a-kind Visual Art Scholarship Program. This initiative seeks to encourage and provide monetary aid to deserving students, particularly those who are finding it difficult to bear the cost of higher education. This scholarship program is strictly applicable for students attending post-secondary institutions in the USA, Canada, and Australia. The scholarship reward amount is fixed at $5,000, which will be provided to the lucky winners. They can spend this sum on expenses incurred related to their field of study.

Eligibility
To successfully apply for the Gulab Oils Visual Arts Scholarship, one must meet all the below-mentioned criteria:
- 18 years of age or older
- Exemplary student, with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.9
- Must be accepted to an academic institution to study Visual Arts
- Must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia, Canada or the United States of America

Application
To apply for the scholarship, applicants must submit:
- Completed and signed application cover sheet
- Completed and signed statement of financial status
- Written recommendations from two authorities (employers, professors, community leaders, etc)
- Letter of description (1-2 pages) stating the applicant’s academic goals, aswell as a description of the student’s approach to the application of visual arts or activities related to physical education
- 500-1,000 word essay on any one of the topics below, emailed to alisha@gulaboils.com
Essay Topics:
- The commercialization of visal arts for the entertainment industry
- Youth from low income groups of colour don’t have access to safe areas for physical activities
- Steps required by an adult on a national, community and personal level to overcome their circumstances

Judging
We are inviting registrations and will continue to accept till 15th January of every year. The results for winners are declared on 31st January every year.
Winners will be chosen by the Gulab Oils Student Scholarship Review Committee
