The Alexis Lodge Future of Care Scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Alexis Lodge co-founder, Anthony Egi, who passed away in January 2019. Anthony and his wife, Christiana (Executive Director of Alexis Lodge), founded Alexis Lodge in 1999 with the vision of creating small-setting retirement homes specializing in dementia care to help alleviate the demand for high-needs care in the province. Given the intimate nature of their small homes, their concept relied on exceptional Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for success. As such, Alexis Lodge would like to contribute to the industry's future with this $5,000.00 scholarship for students studying to become PSWs or Nurses.

Additionally, the winner of this scholarship can complete their 300 to 350-hour practical placement at Alexis Lodge, should they wish. *Note:* This placement is unpaid.
