The City of Waterloo's Millennium Scholarship is a one-time bursary of $1,000 awarded to a graduating high school student for exceptional community service to the residents of Waterloo. 

Applications

Applications are due April 30, 2018.

The following items must be completed in full and included with the application:

  • Applicant information form fully completed
  • A 250-word essay describing how community involvement has influenced your future career/occupational aspirations and how your community involvement will help you achieve success
  • Detailed information about extra-curricular and community involvement
  • Authorization & direction form signed and dated
  • Two letters of reference; one from your high school administrator, guidance counselor, or teacher and one from a member of the community with whom you have worked in a volunteer capacity
